Light Switch Box Repositioning

Here I was shown a light switch cover plate cut to accommodate door trim. I was requested to reposition the light switch box over a few inches to allow for a cover plate to be installed without needing to be cut. While inspecting the area it was noted the amount of drywall mud used around the area was caused the door trip to unseat. By moving the gang box over, I was able to install an uncut cover plate and smooth the wall out allowing the door trim to rest flush again.
